As you may know, the Upper St Clair school district is planning to make significant upgrades to the Boyce and Ft. Couch middle schools. The township is currently considering several different designs and sets of features. The township hopes to finalize plans by September, and to begin construction in June 2009.

The school district website has up an extensive Middle School Renovation section with videos and presentations about the project. For example, pages 18-25 of the Educational Specifications Document contains first draft of floor plans for both schools. As the project progresses, the site will be updated with new information.

The site also contains a comment section for residents to ask questions or make suggestions.
